The Tax Office is a Division of the Department of Finance. The primary function of the Tax Office is the billing and collection of real estate taxes. The real estate tax bills collected by the City of Trenton support the budgets for City of Trenton municipal services, City of Trenton Schools, County of Mercer and the Mercer County Open Space.

As part of the collection process the Tax Office holds tax sales for unpaid real estate taxes and water and sewer bills.

Our staff will courteously assist taxpayers and you will find helpful information to assist you within this web site.
