The Department of Housing & Economic Development manages the planning and development activities of the City government and offers a variety of programs and services, ranging from developing affordable housing to recruiting businesses. 

The Department is divided into three operating divisions: Economic Development, Planning, Housing Production. Each division has staff available to answer your questions about their specific areas of responsibility. If you have an inquiry that involves the Department, please call the Office of the Department Director at 609-989-3518.  Your call will be directed to the right person or office.

The Department provides staff services for the following city boards and commissions:
  
Rent Stabilization Board
   Project Application Review Committee (PARC)
Individuals and firms applying to these boards work with Department staff who review applications and provide advice on each board's requirements.
