The Trenton Sewer Utility is responsible for collecting, treating and disposing of wastewater. It provides for the collection of sanitary sewers and storm run off throughout the city.

Efforts to improve customer service include the October 2008 initiation of a web-based feature, under which residents can make utility bill payments online.
