The Trenton Water Works is responsible for providing safe, adequate and proper water service to its customers.

To request a new water service and/or a renewal of an existing water service, please call 609-989-3822  Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except on City observed holidays. The mailing address for the Trenton Water Works is Post Office Box 528, Trenton, NJ 08603-0528.

Please take note that as of October 2008, customers can make utility bill payments online.

Information about the Sale of the Suburban TWW Infrastructure

The following 5 links will enable you to view the documents associated with the sale of the Trenton Water Works' suburban infrastructure (including 462 miles of the 625 miles of water mains), pending approval by the State Board of Public Utilities (BPU).  The documents, also available in hard-copy form at the City Clerk's Office in City Hall, include:
