Most Trenton neighborhoods were designed long before it was common for families to own two or more cars. The City Code provides for handicapped persons to obtain a permit reserving the parking spot in front of their home. Some neighborhoods, such as Mill Hill, require residential parking permits. There is also a process for neighborhoods to institute permit parking if that is the will of the residents.
