... and Cut Your Costs
1. Turn your thermostat down to 65° at night and when you’re not home
2. Weather seal your windows, doors, ducts, and plumbing
3. Turn your water heater down to 120°
4. Turn off and unplug electronic equipment and lights when not in use
5. Change as many light bulbs as you can to compact flourescent bulbs
6. Check your car’s tire pressure at least monthly
7. Commute by bus, bike, carpool, or walking
8. Use the most efficient vehicle for every trip
9. Go car-free one day a week ... or more
10. Improve insulation in your home’s attic, crawl space, and walls
