President Barack Obama in February 2009 signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) into law, creating a landmark program to help dig the country's economy out of recession. At all levels of government, a priority has been placed on accountability for how these enormous - and precious - dollars are used. The city will provide regular updates regarding Trenton's ARRA funds here.
The Latest Updates on Projects
The latest chart providing a project update, from April 28, 2010, is available. Future funding will be based on guidelines now being developed by the federal agencies to administer the various grants under ARRA. Those guidelines are anticipated this summer.
We also have launched a Facebook page to permit stakeholders (including contractors, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and other interested parties) to engage in a "Two-Way Q&A" about the progress of these important federal dollars.
