See the news. ______________________________________________________ Budget Development: State Board of Public Utilities (BPU) April 3 Approves Water Sale, Stipulation The BPU April 3rd approved the $80 million sale of the Trenton Water Works' pipes and tanks outside the city. The BPU order does, however, stipulate that it will be automatically stayed if the appeal by petitioners seeking to block the sale remains unresolved.
Discussions with the BPU and State Department of Community Affairs indicate that, with the water petition not withdrawn, the Fiscal 2009 tax increase required will be 29 cents per $100 of assessed value, compared with the 9-cent increase initially proposed by the Mayor. TCHS Tornadoes Robotics Team Distinguishes Itself in Regional Applied Science Competition
 TCHS Principal James Earle and Mayor Doug Palmer congratulate the Trenton Central High School Robotics Team for its win against 63 teams in the NJ First Regional competition.
