Municipal Court
Trenton Municipal Court is part of the larger New Jersey Judiciary, whose mission statement states the following: "We recognize that we are an independent branch of government, constitutionally entrusted with the fair and just resolution of disputes in order to preserve the rule of law and to protect the rights and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution and laws of the United States and this State'.
Mission Statement
The mission statement for Trenton Municipal Court states that "Trenton Municipal Court is the City's Center for Justice for all people. We are dedicated to serving the general public and our diverse community with respect, courtesy and sensitivity".
Notation that the Municipal Court during this period of COVID-19 is only conducting virtual court hearings via Microsoft Teams or telephonically. Individuals who wish to schedule/inquire on a court appearance can contact the municipal court via the municipal court customer service unit at trentoncourts@trentonnj.org
