Assistance is not available to families living in units owned by immediate family members. Immediate family ties include (whether by blood, marriage or adoption) the spouse, parent (including a stepparent), child (including a stepchild), brother, sister (including a stepbrother or stepsister), grandparent, grandchild, and in-laws.
If approved, the Landlord must:
- Have a rental license
- Be current on City property taxes
- Agree to waive late fees or penalties for rent paid under this program
- Complete the Disclosure of Information on Lead-Based Paint and Lead-Based Paint Hazards form.
- Complete the IRS Form W-9. Payments will be made to the registered landlord or management company only.
If necessary, landlords will be given 15 days to resolve any issues with the City.
Landlord/Owner is responsible to the items outlined in “Property Requirements.
Payments will not be made to the landlord until all required forms are submitted.
