The public is invited to comment on the City of Trenton’s amendments to the 2015, 2016 and 2018 Annual Actions Plans. The City will reallocate $450,000 in 2015 CDBG funds under Park Improvements & Playground Equipment to three public facility improvement projects: Trenton Library, Roebling Wire Works, Carver Center. Fiscal Year 2015 CDBG funds are at risk of recapture by HUD if they are not expended by September 30, 2022. In order to avoid losing funds, the City will reallocate these funds to projects that are nearing completion or already underway.  In addition, the City of Trenton will allocate $275,724.24 of 2016 and $331,552.35 of 2018 CDBG unallocated funds and remaining funds from completed and canceled activities to the MLK Park Improvement project.    A copy of the substantial amendments will be available for public inspection and review from December 16, 2021, to January 16, 2022 at www.trentonnj.org/fedpublicnotices .

Interested persons are encouraged to express their views on the documents at the public hearing or in writing to gadouglas@trentonnj.org or mail to City of Trenton, Department of Housing & Economic Development, 319 East State Street, 3rd Floor, Trenton, NJ 08608.
