Trenton, N.J. - The City of Trenton is pleased to announce the winners of this year's Fall Park Photo Contest, which captured the seasonal beauty through the lenses of talented photographers in the city. This year's contest received numerous submissions, showcasing stunning parks that featured vibrant foliage and captured the autumn spirit.
The Fall Park Photo Contest, which ran from October 28 to November 22, invited both beginner and professional photographers to submit their best fall-themed image of a Trenton park. Participants were asked to highlight the season's colors, Trenton, and the memories that make fall special. After a thorough selection process, the Mayor's Youth Advisory Council selected the following winners:
First Place
- Habiyb Ali Shu'Aib - "Mill Hill Park"
A vibrant photo of a crisp autumn day in Mill Hill Park. This image captured the essence of Trenton's history, featuring a historical bridge, and a sense of human compassion. The first-place winner received a $100 Gift Card and a certificate from Mayor W. Reed Gusciora.
Second Place
- Chinelo Williams - "Cadwalader Park"
A serene path where trees filled with colorful fall foliage stands gracefully against the golden light of the setting sun. The second-place winner received a $75 Gift Card and a certificate from Mayor Gusciora.
Third Place
- Jennifer Ng'andu - "Cadwalader Park"
The vibrant image of this tree radiates a calming energy and a true sense of fall fun. The third-place winner received a $50 Gift Card and a certificate from Mayor Gusciora.
"We were truly impressed by the incredible talent and creativity shown in this year's submissions," said Mayor Gusciora. "Each photograph beautifully captures the spirit of Trenton and the vibrant magic of fall in our parks. We're proud to honor the photographers who have skillfully showcased the charm of Trenton's parks in such a memorable way."
All winning photographs will be featured on the City of Trenton's website and social media platforms.
