Dear Trenton City Residents:
As we approach election day on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, the City would like to provide you with some election information which may make voting for you easier this year.
Early Voting
As you may know New Jersey has allowed early voting this year. If you wish to vote early you can do so at the Cure Arena, 81 Hamilton Avenue, Trenton, New Jersey. THE EARLY VOTING ENTRANCE IS AT GATE C.
Early voting is available through Sunday October 31, 2021.
Early Voting Hours - Monday through Saturday :10AM to 8 PM
Sunday from 10AM to 6PM.
New Voting Machines
Please be aware that Mercer County has updated its voting machines stock and this election will be conducted using brand new electronic voting machines which have both an electronic input and a paper back up. Your poll workers at your polling location can assist you and give you instructions. If you have difficulty using the machines please see a poll worker. There will also be instructions available to read.
Polls on Tuesday November 2, 2021
Voting at the polls on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, begins with polls opening at 6AM and closing at 8PM. As long as you are in line by 8PM you will be permitted to vote. The updated list of polling locations is attached. Per an earlier email there were two changes to polling locations (see below)
Polling Location Changes
- Trenton North Ward District 12 will now be voting at the Trent Center West located at 465 Greenwood Ave (Moved from Trenton Central High School)
Trenton North Ward District 2 and Trenton East Ward District 7 will remain at Trenton Central High School
- Trenton North Ward District 9 will now be voting at Trenton Fire House No. 3 located at 720 South Broad St. (Moved from Kingsbury Towers)
