To dispute a ticket you must notify the court administrator of your intention at least 7 days prior to your court date. If you fail to do so, it may be necessary to make two court appearances. A citizen complaint may be filed at Trenton Municipal Court, Trenton, during normal business hours. On occasion, complaints will be taken during specific times, depending on staff availability. Call 609-989-3700.
Once a complaint has been filed, charges will only be dropped in open Court at the discretion of a judge. In certain domestic violence cases, the judge may keep a complaint open for a period of time even if both parties request the complaint be dropped.

The price of a payable ticket may be found on the back of the ticket. However, the Violations Bureau will have ticket information within reach. You may pay any payable ticket online. You will need to have handy the plate number, ticket number, and, prefix. The court accepts any credit or debit card that carries the MasterCard or Visa logo.
