1. The fire department recently responded to a small fire in my house, where can I pick up a copy of the fire report?

2. I believe I have a fire hazard in my home but my landlord will not do anything, who can I talk to about getting it inspected?

3. What is the single most important thing I can do to protect my family from fire?

Call the Trenton Fire Department at 609-989-4032 and have them install free working smoke detectors.

The National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) estimates that 94 percent of United States homes have at least one smoke alarm. Homes with smoke alarms typically have a death rate that is 40 to 50 percent less than the rate for homes without alarms. Sadly, three of every 10 reported fires in homes equipped with smoke alarms, the devices did not work.
