Trenton, N.J. - The City of Trenton is excited to announce the launch of our City-Wide Clean Up Initiative, with a press conference on Thursday, August 1 at 11:30 a.m. at 1 Doanes Alley (next to 418 Centre Street). This initiative aims to enhance the cleanliness and beautify our neighborhoods by facilitating the proper disposal and recycling of bulk items from residents while also clearing the streets, sidewalks, alleyways, and parks of debris, trash, and tall grass.
This week's conference will focus on the South Ward and how residents can participate in their bulk collection day, Saturday, August 3, what streets fall into their Ward, the targeted areas to be cleaned or have been cleaned during the week, and the accomplishments of prior bulk collections.
Keynote Speakers will include Honorable Mayor Reed Gusciora, Vice President and South Ward Councilwoman Jenna Figueroa-Kettenburg, Public Works Director Wahab Onitiri, and Recreation Director Paul Harris.
