Trenton, N.J. - The City of Trenton is excited to announce the launch of our City-Wide Clean-Up Initiative in the West Ward, with a press conference on, Wednesday, August 21 at 10:00 a.m. on Gilbert Alley between Overbrook Ave. and Hermitage Ave. This initiative aims to enhance the cleanliness and beautify our neighborhoods by facilitating the proper disposal and recycling of bulk items from residents while also clearing the streets, sidewalks, alleyways, and parks of debris, trash, and tall grass.
This week's conference will focus on the West Ward and how residents can participate in their bulk collection day, Saturday, August 21, what streets fall into their Ward, the targeted areas to be cleaned or have been cleaned during the week, and the accomplishments of prior bulk collections.
Keynote Speakers will include Honorable Mayor Reed Gusciora, Public Works Director Wahab Onitiri, Assistant Director Hector Weah and Recreation Director Paul Harris.
