Trenton Requests Public Assistance in Adopting or Fostering Animals at Trenton Animal Shelter

Invitation to Visit Shelter

Trenton N.J. – The City of Trenton is requesting the public’s assistance in adopting dogs and cats located at the Trenton Animal Shelter (72 Escher St, Trenton, NJ 08609).

The shelter currently houses over 70 dogs, which is triple its normal capacity. The City of Trenton’s Department of Health and Human Services is currently collaborating with Trenton Animals Rock to overcome this situation.

Mayor W. Reed Gusciora stated, “Please consider adopting or fostering a dog from the Trenton Animal Shelter. This crisis won’t be fixed overnight, so please reach out to the Trenton Animal Shelter or Trenton Animals Rock to find out how you can make the difference in the life of a dog at our shelter, today.
