Dewcon, Inc., a contract vendor for Trenton Water Works, will repair a ruptured gasket on a valve connected to a 20-inch water main near 966 Kuser Road in Hamilton Township on Thursday, December 9, from 9:00 AM to 3 PM. Approximately 135 homes between Nottinghill Lane and Estates Boulevard will be without water during this period, including the Hamilton Chase community. When the work is complete, some area residents may see brown water at the cold tap, a post-repair condition corrected by running the water until clear, a process that can take up to ten minutes.
