Trenton Water Works (TWW), your public water utility, will conduct a routine inspection and testing of the “interconnection” between TWW and New Jersey American Water beginning on Monday, October 8 at 8 a.m. and ending on Tuesday, October 9 at 5 p.m. This test is to ensure that TWW’s water system can access millions of gallons of water from New Jersey American Water during an emergency, such as in the event that TWW’s water-filtration plant on Route 29 South in Trenton or the 100-million-gallon Pennington Avenue Reservoir are non-functional. During the test, customers may experience minimal loss of pressure or possible discolored water.
TWW’s customer-service representatives are available to answer your questions during regular business hours, Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., by phoning (609) 989-3055. TWW’s emergency after-hours number is (609) 989-3222. Please share this TWW public notice with your neighbors.
