The City of Trenton supports Trenton businesses with various shop local activities that have recently been called the best shop local program in New Jersey. They include:
- The Trenton Eat Local Club, which brings city residents to different Trenton restaurants every month, you can join them by emailing the Economic Development Division.
- Social media promotions like the Division YouTube channel, the Shop Trenton Video contest, Shop Trenton Facebook group, and the Trenton Businesses in the News Facebook page
